I have a minor's degree in Arts, and in the process of getting my full Game Designer degree. My biggest focus at the moment is writing stories, especially those
that focus on my home country, Venezuela. You can see some of my work in the "Work" tab.
Work
Manabu
Manabu was my first experience with Unity. I had a lot of help with this project and was
ultimately what made me realize what I wanted to pursue. It's a quiz game that was designed for
middle schoolers to reinforce three specific subjects: English, Math, and Universal History.
Ultimately, it was a success in its objective and I was pretty proud of it.
Mini Projects
I have a couple of mini-projects that I used to learn about new things. Some notable projects
are: Pasillo Terror "Hallway of Terror", which focused on learning lights and smoke simulations;
Nostalgia, was used to learn Cinemachine and Post Processing, and Domino was used to understand
Unity Physics and enhance my Cincemachine skills.
Forgotten Royalty
Forgotten Royalty is a great assignment that taught me level construction and planning, it's a
personalized Monument Valley level with some added lore and characters.
Ninja Heaven
Ninja Heaven is a small and quick project that taught me the basics of terrain, AI combat, and
using blender to make some of the assets.
Life in Spads
Life in Spads, this project taught me about pre-production for games. I wrote a small Game
Design Document and made a couple of rough sketches of the vision I had for a full game.
The Friendly Ghost
I developed The Friendly Ghost to create an innovative mechanic for a mobile game. You are a
ghost in a house that was once your own, and your main objective is to scare away the burglars
that have made their way inside.
El Batallón de Chacabuco

El Batallón de Chacabuco, "The Chacabuco battalion" is a graphic novel built on Twine that
relives a historic moment in Chile's past. It's a telling of one of the greatest reminders of
courage and coordination in the nation's battle against the Peruvian troops. With only 77
soldiers, the Chilean troops managed to hold their position for more than two days against three
hundred enemy soldiers and a whole village of angry Peruvians.
Un viaje por la frontera

Un Viaje por la Frontera or "A Journey across the border" is one of the projects that I am most
proud of. As a Venezuelan, I understand that not a lot of foreigners understand the real
situation that has been transpiring in my country. This game tries to show the player through
tough decisions and real-life based stories, the reality of the Venezuelan population that
leaves their country to find a better life elsewhere.
Gloria al bravo pueblo

Gloria al bravo pueblo, "Glory to the brave people" is another project that tries to show the
Venezuelan situation. You're a journalist that has recently been investigating the current
situation of the Venezuelans. To obtain real-life experiences and in-depth information, you
decide to interview Venezuelans and learn directly from the source. One of the Venezuelans will
teach you some early history from the 70s all the way to the 80s and the younger one will speak
of the modern times and what transpired in the latest years. This game was meant to tie in the
previous one and give some context to the story.
SEAT Mii Simulator

SEAT Mii Simulator is a serious game project, it was meant to showcase some of the SEAT Mii
features
and simulate a project that would be presented to a non-gaming company.
Dino Amigos
Demo
Dino Amigos is an important milestone, it was my first experience with voiceover in a game. It's
a game made for kids that teaches some important values with some entertaining games.
Svidurr
Demo
Svidurr, el señor de los colgados or "Svidurr, the lord of the hanged" is a 2D platformer with
3D elements, making it a unique twist on platformers. This was one of my favorite projects to
date, mainly because of my love for Norse mythology. We follow the story of Odin "Svidurr",
through his most important moments in life. We decided to make short but informative cinematics
that tied the story and the gameplay to emphasize this.
